This website (www.metalonic.com) and the associated services (collectively, the "Service") are operated by Metalonic (referred to as "we", "us", "our"). We provide a platform for artists ("Artists", "you") to upload their digital artwork, have it reviewed, and potentially made available for sale as physical metal posters to end customers ("Customers") through our online store, which is powered by an integrated e-commerce platform.

By visiting our site, signing up as an Artist, uploading content, and/or facilitating the purchase of products through our Service, you engage in our Service and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), including those additional terms, conditions, and policies referenced herein (such as our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Artist and Affiliate Terms, which are incorporated by reference). These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, artists, vendors, customers, merchants, and content contributors.

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using any part of the site or Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access the website or use any Services.

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates/changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

SECTION 1 - ARTIST ACCOUNTS & ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or that you are the age of majority and have given consent for any minor dependents to use this site under your supervision.

Artist Agreement: By registering as an Artist and using the Service, you explicitly agree to our Artist and Affiliate Terms (detailed below or linked herein), which govern artwork submissions, intellectual property rights, content standards, marketing permissions, and earnings.

You may not use our platform or the products sold for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction (including copyright laws).

You must not transmit worms, viruses, or any destructive code.

A breach of these Terms may result in immediate termination of your access to the Service and your Artist account.

SECTION 2 - GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse Service to anyone for any reason at any time (e.g., violation of terms, prohibited content).

You understand that your content (artwork metadata, descriptions, tags, profile information, but not including payment information which is handled by our payment processors) may be transferred unencrypted over various networks and adapted to technical requirements. Artwork image files are stored securely in our R2 storage. Credit card information for customer purchases is always encrypted during transfer over networks via our e-commerce platform provider's systems.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission by us.

SECTION 5 - PRODUCTS OR SERVICES (Metal Posters)

Products (metal posters featuring artist artwork) are available exclusively online through our integrated online store. Products may have limited quantities.

Returns and exchanges for end customer purchases are governed solely by our Refund Policy.

SECTION 6 - ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

Artists: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate account information (email, username) during signup and to update it promptly. You are responsible for configuring your payout information accurately when that feature is available or requested.

Customers: End customers purchasing through our online store agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information. Our platform provider handles billing and customer account management. We reserve the right to refuse/limit/cancel customer orders placed via our store (e.g., suspected fraud, reseller activity). Order changes/cancellations will be communicated via the contact info provided at the time of the customer's order. Refer to our Refund Policy for related details.

SECTION 8 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS & SERVICES

Our Service integrates with third parties like Supabase (authentication), Cloudflare (infrastructure), an e-commerce platform provider, and fulfillment partners.

The site may contain links to third-party websites not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of, and do not warrant or have liability for, any third-party materials, websites, products, or services (including our e-commerce platform or fulfillment partners).

Your submission and our handling of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

SECTION 20 - ARTIST AND AFFILIATE TERMS SUMMARY & EARNINGS

By using the Service as an Artist, you agree to the full Artist and Affiliate Terms. Key aspects include:

• Artwork License: You grant Metalonic a license to reproduce, display, market, and sell your uploaded artworks as metal posters and related products via our platform and integrated online store.
• Intellectual Property: You retain ownership of your original artwork. You represent and warrant that you own all necessary rights for any artwork you upload. You are solely responsible for the content you upload.
• E-commerce Integration: Approved artworks may be made available on our online store. We may create artist-specific collections to facilitate sales.
• Earnings: You earn a commission for each metal poster sold featuring your artwork through our store. The current standard earnings are:
  • Medium (M - approx. 30x40 cm / 12x16"): $10 USD
  • Large (L - approx. 50x70 cm / 20x28"): $20 USD
  • Extra Large (XL - approx. 70x100 cm / 28x40"): $30 USD
